Before installing
Internet Information Server 5 or newer and .Net Framework 2.0 must be installed (if you install Internet Information Server 5 after .Net Framework, you must register ASP.Net by launching the following program in a command prompt :
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\aspnet_regiis.exe -i
Note: Internet information Server is included with Windows 2000 / XP Pro / 2003 / Vista Pro / Vista Ultimate
Installation
if not already download our web program guide. Then launch the setup wizard, during the installation you will see this dialog box:
In this dialog box enter:
- The full path to the Beyond TV configuration folder. Usually C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SnapStream\Beyond TV
- The keyword that matches movies in your XMLTV file (probably movie)
- The keyword that matches series in your XMLTV file (probably series)
- The keyword that matches sports in your XMLTV file (probably sport)
Click then on the "Next >" button, the following dialog will appear:
Enter then :
- The keyword that matches shows or spectacles in your XMLTV file (probably spectacle or show)
- The keyword that matches information magazines in your XMLTV file (probably magazine)
- The keyword that matches kids shows in your XMLTV file (probably kid)
- The keyword that matches news in your XMLTV file (probably news)
Then click on the "Next >" button, you will see this dialog box:
You can choose here how the guide will handle the Beyond TV password if set, you can choose :

The guide will ask for the Beyond TV password each time you browse the guide (the password must be set in Beyond TV)

The guide will use the password you'll specify in the next step of the setup wizard

You have no password set in Beyond TV
Click on the "Next >" button to specify you Beyond TV password (if needed) :
If you have set a password for Beyond TV in Web Admin and doesn't want that the guide asks you for this password each time you browse the guide, then enter the Beyond TV password here. Note : you have to choose "use the password you can provide in the next step" in the previous step of the wizard.
Click on the "Next >" button
Choose here the folder where you want to install the program guide. For instance choose "guide" you will be able to access your guide with an address like http://mycomputer/guide (where mycomputer is the name of your computer, you can also use: http://localhost/guide).
You can reach the mobile version of the guide with the address: http://mycomputer/guide/mobile (http://localhost/guide/mobile).
The wap version (or ultra light version) is located in http://mycomputer/guide/wap (http://localhost/guide/wap).
You can also specify the http port to use, but we recommand you to let 80 as default. (Be careful not to use the "Port Forwarder" function of Beyond TV: in Beyond TV Web Admin choose "Configure" then "Advanced Settings" then "Web Server Settings" and in heading "Port Forwarder" choose "No" in the drop down list.
Click the on the "Next >" button to finish setup. Open your favorite browser and enjoy your new guide.
