Re: BUG: MCE7 (Pause, Replay & Skip)
I have a MCE remote (RC6). However, when LMRK is active, skip forward and skip backward do nothing when pressed (pause, and everthything else seems to work fine).
On Windows 7 with a MCE Remote (without LM RKM) when pressing on skip backward / forward while playing a video and MCE doesn't have the focus: nothing happen (Play / Pause / Stop / FForward / Rewind does work).

As I said: the MCE remote is sending MediaNextTrack and MediaPrevTrack keys as well as HID messages. This is the native behavior, and it doesn't seems to do anything if MCE is not focused.

I can get around the problem by assigning ^f and ^b to the keys, but would prefer the native implementation becasue it does not require focus.
well the native implementation requires focus...

To my knowledge MCE cannot be totally operated if it doesn't have the focus (even creating a LM RKM plug-in that would run within MCE would only control media playback)

Regards,

Hi Stephane,

1. what you recommended works for me just fine (^f, etc in MCE profile)
2. even with focus on MCE - its in full screen - LM RKM somehow intercepts native MCE remote back and forward - regardless if there is MCE profile or not.

I don't understand what you are asking...? LM RKM will always intercept the Skip Backward and Skip Forward buttons. If you want the native MCE remote events: use the "Press Key" action with "MediaNextTrack" or "MediaPrevTrack".

With or without LM RKM, Media Center will not skip back or forward if it is not in focus.

Stéphane
